During the week the Gold Coast Bulletin ran an artilce titled
“Enormous unmet demand”: Why Gold Coast units are selling out in days.
We have definitely seen a big spike in web traffic to our sales page recently and the waitlist for General Release sales is growing larger each week.
“The controversial federal budget has failed to put the brakes on Gold Coast unit sales, as buyers continue to snap up new homes.
Despite fears that changes to negative gearing and capital gains tax would send the market into a slump, developers say sales have remained high in the past month across already greenlit new projects which set to break ground in coming months.
A well-known developer has already sold out of 27 units in its approved tower in Palm Beach.”
Meanwhile, more than $120m of units in a Southport project have sold ahead of its launch last week as construction begins.
“The market response to our project has been remarkable and an affirmation of our vision for the new community we are creating in the heart of Southport,” Said the developer.
“It is especially pleasing that most of the early buyers are from the Gold Coast, many of whom are owner occupiers who recognise the full potential of our master plan.”
The Gold Coast certainly is the “hot-spot” in all of Australia in recent months, and we are very excited to launch our General Release price list very soon.

Re-Sales of Pre-Sales
Unfortunately we have had a few pre-sale buyers experience a change in circumstances and released their stock back to us over the past few weeks. With our large waitlist of buyers waiting in the wings, all of these re-sales have been snapped up very quickly. As we get ready to launch our “General Release” round, with increased pricing, now is the time to let us know:
- Do you want to take another unit at “pre-sales” price?
- Do you want to refer any friends and family before the prices increase?
- Are you considering releasing your unit back to us for waitlist buyers?
This coming week on the 16th June, we have a contract finalisation workshop with our legal team. The output from this workshop will give us a good idea of when we can get your contracts out to you. It will be quite soon. More information on that in next week’s update.
We recorded a “showcase” video this week highlighting the ease of transport options right from our doorstep. The video is aimed to educate our overseas and interstate buyers of just how convenient living in One Park Lane really is. Look out for it next week’s update also.
